Scott Carr, who was Burlington Mayor Bob Kiss’ choice to head Burlington International Airport, has withdrawn from consideration for the job following questions about his experiences in his two previous jobs. The city’s search for an airport director will begin anew.

“I talked with Scott Carr this morning regarding his interest in being appointed Director of Aviation at BTV,” Kiss wrote in an email to members of the Airport Commission and of the interview team set up to review candidates for the job.
